Publishing Ethics

The International Journal of Emerging Technologies and Advanced Applications (IJETAA) is committed to upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct in all aspects of its publishing process. We adhere to the principles of transparency, integrity, and academic honesty, and expect all parties involved in the publication process, including authors, reviewers, editors, and publishers, to follow these guidelines.

1. Authorship and Contributorship
Authors submitting their work to IJETAA must ensure that the submitted work is entirely original and has not been published elsewhere or is under consideration for publication in another journal. All authors listed on the paper should have made significant contributions to the research and the preparation of the manuscript. Any form of plagiarism, fabrication, or falsification of data is strictly prohibited and will result in the rejection of the manuscript or retraction of the published article.

2. Peer Review Process
IJETAA employs a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality and integrity of the published research. Reviewers are expected to provide objective, constructive, and timely feedback to authors, and to disclose any potential conflicts of interest. Reviewers should maintain the confidentiality of the manuscripts they review and not use any information obtained during the review process for their personal advantage.

3. Editorial Decisions
The decision to accept or reject a manuscript is based solely on its scientific merit, originality, and relevance to the journal's scope. Editors should make their decisions in a fair, unbiased, and timely manner. Any form of discrimination based on the authors' gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, or political beliefs is strictly prohibited.

4. Conflicts of Interest
All parties involved in the publication process must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that may influence their judgment or objectivity. Authors should declare any financial, personal, or professional relationships that could be perceived as a conflict of interest. Reviewers should also disclose any conflicts of interest and recuse themselves from the review process if necessary.

5. Confidentiality
IJETAA respects the confidentiality of all unpublished research submitted to the journal. Editors and reviewers must not share or disclose any information about the submitted manuscripts to any third party without the authors' explicit permission.

6. Corrections and Retractions
If an error or inaccuracy is discovered in a published article, IJETAA will promptly publish a correction or retraction as necessary. Authors are responsible for notifying the journal of any errors or inaccuracies in their published work. In cases of scientific misconduct or breach of publishing ethics, the journal reserves the right to retract the article and take appropriate action to maintain the integrity of the scientific record.

7. Plagiarism
IJETAA takes plagiarism very seriously and employs stringent measures to detect and prevent any form of plagiarism. All submitted manuscripts are screened for random plagiarism using advanced plagiarism detection software. Authors must ensure that their work is original and properly cite any sources used in their research. Any form of plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, is unacceptable and will result in the rejection of the manuscript or retraction of the published article. In severe cases of plagiarism, the authors may be banned from submitting future manuscripts to the journal.

8. Open Access and Copyright
IJETAA is an open access journal, and all published articles are freely available to readers under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0). Authors retain the copyright to their work and grant the journal the right to publish and distribute the article. Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to use any copyrighted material in their manuscripts.

By adhering to these ethical guidelines, IJETAA aims to maintain the highest standards of academic integrity and to promote responsible conduct in research and publishing. We encourage all parties involved in the publication process to familiarize themselves with these guidelines and to report any suspected violations to the editorial office.
